Connect WhatsApp Business
Connect your WhatsApp Business API account to enable AI-powered conversations with your customers.
Prerequisites
Facebook Account
You need a personal Facebook account to access Meta Business Suite.
Phone Number
A phone number that can receive SMS or voice calls for verification. This number will be used for your WhatsApp Business account.
Business Information
Your business name, website (if available), and business category.
Connection Process
Start the Connection Flow
From your dashboard, click the "Connect WhatsApp"button. This opens Meta's embedded signup flow.
Authorize with Facebook
Sign in to Facebook if prompted. Grant Harvenci permission to manage your WhatsApp Business account.
Permissions requested: whatsapp_business_messaging and whatsapp_business_management
Select or Create Business Portfolio
Choose an existing Meta Business Portfolio or create a new one. The Business Portfolio contains your WhatsApp Business Account.
Each Business Portfolio can have multiple WhatsApp Business Accounts and phone numbers. The number of agents you can create is limited by your Business Portfolio.
Register Phone Number
Enter the phone number you want to use for WhatsApp Business. This number:
- Cannot be currently registered on WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business app
- Must be able to receive SMS or voice calls for verification
- Will be displayed to customers when they message your business
Verify Phone Number
Choose to receive a verification code via SMS or voice call. Enter the 6-digit code to complete verification.
Connection Complete
Once verified, your WhatsApp Business account is connected to Harvenci. You can now create agents and assign this phone number to them.
Business Verification
Meta requires business verification to unlock higher messaging limits and additional features. Your verification status affects what you can do.

Verify Your Business
Complete business verification in Meta Business Suite to unlock higher messaging limits. You'll need to provide business documents like registration certificates.
Agent Limits
The number of agents (phone numbers) you can connect depends on your Meta Business Portfolio verification status.
Business Portfolio Limits
Each Business Portfolio has a limit on the number of phone numbers (agents) you can register. This limit increases as you verify your business and maintain good messaging quality.
Troubleshooting
Phone number already registered
If your phone number is already registered on WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business app, you'll need to delete it from those apps first. Wait 24 hours after deletion before registering with the API.
Verification code not received
Try switching between SMS and voice call verification. Ensure your phone has signal and can receive calls/messages from international numbers.
Connection failed
Clear your browser cache and try again. Ensure you're using a supported browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge). Disable browser extensions that might block popups.
